Hi,
I wanted to know if there is a possibility to attach different images to 3D models in NX. If it is possible, is there a way to map the normal flat images to curved models. I tried using raster images but i couldnt exactly attach them to 3d model.
It looks like there is, and below is a link to a former post, but not very good at explaining it. It appears there is something on YouTube, but I did not check it out.
Thank you guys for your responses. But the point is, i have already used the 2 methods i.e raster images and decal stickers. In raster images , the images can be placed and adjusted but it can be fixed or projected on CAD model and in decal sticker, the image attcaches as a sticker to the CAD model. So i am searching for some other better way to process it. I have attached pictures so you can have a look.https://res.cloudinary.com/engineering-com/image/upload/v1578579278/tips/raster_image_d9vudq.tiff
In The New NX 1899 you can do some fun things, But it turns your model into a Convergent model. This may have been introduced in 1872. Maybe this will help you out a bit. I think it takes a special license also. just a thought.
