Attic Eaves and Hips

Question on attic layouts, superficially hips. In an effort to design a better attic we've started looking into placing heads directly under the hips. The picture attached is a quick sketch on top of 8.6.4.1.4.3 on 2016e NFPA 13. If we are trying to stay under 8' against the slope between heads, on one side of a hip our coverage per head would 4' x 7'6" max, but then on the other side of the hip it would be reversed, creating an uneven coverage area. I feel like I'm missing some easy to understand thing here, but any advice would be helpful.

Are you using Tyco attic sprinklers?

It looks like you would have more than enough coverage there. Standard sprinklers need only be 6 ft. apart, not 8 ft.
