dik, is there any battery chemistry that isn't toxic?
NiCd, Pb-H2SO4, Li; I can't think of any offhand that I would want to dance with.

Well some are worse than others, but you're right, I can't think of one that isn't very bad.

In the combustion context, vanadium pentoxide is able to flux metal surfaces at temperatures as low as the 1150°F range, so attack can be rapid and catastrophic, even for high alloy materials.

Why bother with chemical batteries when you've got the totally feasible and definitely efficient Energy Vault to utilize?
