Hi,

as a German Manufaktur of distilling equipment I'm looking into the Australien Standards.
For me it is hard to understand which Australian Standards are the counterpart to the European Version.

Does anyone has Espérance in that?
Im looking especially for an Australian Counterpart to:

EG machinery directive (2006/42/EG).
EU electromagnetic compatibility regulations (2014/30/EU)
EU Pressure equipment regulations 2014/68/EU

and maybe:
EN 1672-2 Food processing machinery
EN ISO 12100 Safety of machinery - Risk assessment and risk reduction

I assume that the Australien Standard AS 1210 Pressure Vessels would fit to EU Pressure equipment regulations 2014/68/EU.
And maybe AS 60204.1-2015 to EU electromagnetic compatibility regulations (2014/30/EU)
Could this be right?

Thank you for your help.
As the non native English speckig person it is quite hard to compare all those different versions.

Hello,

EU's machinery directives are not mandatory in Australia.

AS/NZS 4024.1201 is [according to the preface, reproduced from] EN ISO 12100.

AS/NZS 4024.1601 references EN1672-2, and hence I propose that AU does not have an equivalent.

AS/NZS 4024 does not reference AS/NZS 1210.
AS/NZS 1200 states standards that may be used in lieu of AS/NZS 1210 [however none of them are EU].

AS 60204.1 provide some guidance regarding EMC, however I am not aware of this is equivalent to EU.
