Design Standard before ASCE 7-88

I am working on three existing structures whose construction drawings were issued in years 1958, 1968 and 1976. I am evaluating the design wind load that would have been used in designing these 3 structures. When I look at the past editions of ASCE 7, the first edition was issued in 1988. I am assuming that there might be some reference for the design loads built before 1988.

Do you know what were the design standards that were used for the structures before 1988?

NOTE: The structure is located in Florida. I did checked the Florida Building Code, and the 1st edition of FBC was issued in 2000 which does not helps me on this.

The ASCE 7 was originally based on the ANSI A58.1.

Here's the abstract for ASCE 7:
Prepared by the Minimum Design Loads on Buildings and Other Structures Standards Committee of the Technical Council on Codes and Standards of ASCE
Minimum Design Loads for Buildings and Other Structures gives requirements for dead, live, soil, wind, snow, rain, and earthquake loads, as well as their combinations. The requirements described in this standard—which is a complete revision of ANSI A58.1-1982—are suitable for inclusion in building codes and other design documents. The Standard also includes a Commentary, which describes the basis of the requirements.
The structural load requirements provided by this standard are intended for use by architects, structural engineers, and those engaged in preparing and administering local building codes.
The 1945 precursor to Standard ANSI/ASCE 7-88 is included as supplemental material. Building Code Requirements for Minimum Design Loads in Buildings and Other Structures was originally published by the U.S. National Bureau of Standards as Miscellaneous Publication M179 and approved by the American Standards Association as Standard ASA A58.1-1945.
The final ANSI version of Minimum Design Loads for Buildings and Other Structures, ANSI A58.1-1982, is also included as supplemental material.

I have an old ANSI A58.1-72 in my storage boxes somewhere - Not sure what the original issue of it was but generally before ASCE 7 started getting "serious" the UBC, SBC and BOCA codes all simply incorporated A58.1 into their texts. Not too many engineers actually used 58.1 as I recall.
