Auto area output

Gents,
Is there any way we can calculate only the area of bottom face automatically
Without picking each face manually. Is there any way we can develop a macro/Journal to
Output this automatically?

Yes, you can save it as an expression. It usually is a matter of making sure ASSOCIATIVE is toggled on.
What version of NX are you on ?

We are using NX 11,

I think in NX11 there in the MEASURE FACE command, and you can pick only your bottom face.
Make sure the entire menu is expanded so you can see where ASSOCIATIVE is checked on, and then all the values (including area) will be saved as an expression and you can work with it from there.
Use the commend finder to locate the MEASURE FACE command if you cannot find it.
