Have you checked out File > Import in the pulldown menus and figured out which available option is compatible with Autocad? Autocad isn't compatible with much of anything it seems. Using IGES or SAT would be my recommendation.

Dear rajat84

The best way of doing this is via Step.
This can only be done in AutoCad Mechanical.

Here you can export lines, surfaces and bodies.

Best regards

But there's no STEP reader in Ansys...WB perhaps. I don't use it that much.

Oke

Sorry, it's WB, But I tried many options and step is the best one.
Try to go from WB to Ansys

Hi,

I import geometry in parasolid format. It works in workbench.
