Does anyone know of a valve for automatically shutting off water pressure in the event of downstream line (hoses, fittings etc) failure. The application is for water for a test rig at up to 6000psi with small diameter hoses (equivalent to half-inch). I have heard of such devices on fire hydrant systems and also on washing machine hoses but not for higher pressure industrial equipment.
