I have plan views on different sheets that I want to create detail balloons for. NX will only let me have balloons on one sheet. How can I get around this without placing individual balloons?

Thanks!

Mike

Do a 'Copy' (as in 'Copy & Paste') of the Parts List on the first sheet and then 'Paste' the copy onto the second Sheet, perform the Autoballoon operation and then 'Hide' (don't Delete) the 'Copy' of the Parts List.

What will happen if you create the view on sheet 1 autoballoon it then copy that view to sheet 2?

Best regards

Hudson

If u are creating Autoballoons then select "parts list" from "Part Navigator", u can create balloons in any sheet.

Thanks for the reply,
I tried to copy the parts list and got this message: "Cannot copy parts lists when the UGII_UPDATE_ALL_ID_SYMBOLS_WITH_PLIST variable is on. To copy parts lists, set this variable to 0."

I'm not sure how to do this.

Well, u can create multiple parts lists in same drafting file by setting this variable to 0 i.e.
UGII_UPDATE_ALL_ID_SYMBOLS_WITH_PLIST=0

You can create multiple parts lists by clicking parts list icon.

Did u check my previous post in this thread? Let me know if that works.
