Autoballooning Error Help

I get the following error when trying to autoballoon an isometric view from my BOM.

The following error occurred during update:

Internal Error

While updating object of type Parts List in 501287.prt

i then click ok, the only option, and get this message

Error recovery completed for the following error:
Internal error

The error message was not much help to me...wondering if anyone has come across this. Any advice at all would be appreciated.
