Hi,
My Autocad installation got corrupted. It was showing License error (forgot to take the snap shot). It was not showing in the control panel also.

Then i deleted the Autocad 2016 folder from program files and reinstalled it.It once again does not show up in my control panel or my desktop.

How do i fix it? Request your support pls.

Just out of curiosity why are you not reaching out to Autodesk directly?

Hi,
Waiting for the reply from them. thank you.

License server issues are a prickly topic, here. We are unable to help you circumvent the license, for good reasons, but in the event we try to help you with a legitimate installation, we would probably find ourselves working at odds with AutoDesk's people, making it frustrating on both sides.

Besides, installation issues usually are solved by examining a HUGE amount of detail about your system. Probably more than you want to provide to the internet.

Hi folks,
I tried to install AutoCAD.But it shows it is already installed. But I could not find the same in the control panel.is it something to do with the registry entry?
Request your support pls.

You can try, if brave enough, to use regedit and delete all registry entries that reference your AutoCad installation.
For example, I install Oracle in e:\oracle12 and after I delete the program with the deinstall program, the registry will still contain references. I will run regedit and do a search for 'e:\oracle12' and delete all registry keys that contain that reference.

AutoDesk is failing to serve a customer. (On record here).

Backup your data
Uninstall Autocad and everything Autodesk
reboot
Use something like CCleaner to clean out the registry of all spurious entries
reboot
make sure all folders related to Autodesk are deleted, with their files
reboot if you made any changes
run CCleaner again, repeat until no registry errors are detected
reboot
make sure the task manager shows no autodesk related processes
reinstall autocad
register your license

If using Windows 10, avoid cleaning registry. Add another user account to Windows and install under new login. New login will have some branches of registry uninitialized before reinstall and may solve your problem without risk.

Perhaps, but OP is active on this forum so I think not. Deleting files in Program Folder via explorer does show however lack of understanding on how to install/uninstall Windows based programs and dependent files.
