First off, I primarily use SolidWorks 2007 Professional, but do use AutoCAD as a secondary program almost on a daily basis. So I am sorry if this is a null point of has been covered already.
Our company has recently “upgraded” from AutoCAD 2000 to AutoCAD LT 2008. As I am getting settled in, I have noticed that if I copy/paste anything (mainly simple lines and/or dimensions) from 2008LT into 2000 or SolidWorks, it comes up as an OLE object, which just ain’t cool!!
Is there anyway to overcome this feature, and go back to the ‘good ol days’ of simple copy/paste, or am I stuck converting everything back to a 2000 dwg, re-opening it in 2000 & doing it that way???
