Hi Everyone,
Could someone please explain to me the thread dimensions used on medium pressure autoclave connections (up to 20,000psi)?
As I understand it, an "Autoclave" connection essentially consists of a UNF male thread on a cone ended tube, which is screwed into a matching female UNF thread "adapter". This "adapter" has a larger male UNF external thread on it, which screws into a matching female UNF thread in the component.
I am unsure as to which UNF threads are being used on the connections. I have searched the internet and cannot find much info on this. I have found the following document which seems to explain the thread dimensions for a high pressure connection (up to 60,000psi), which is slightly more complex than the medium pressure connection.

Ideally I'm looking for a link to a table of some sort explaining the UNF thread sizes and classes (1A, 1B, 1C, 2A, 2B, 2C) for Autoclave connections to various tube OD's.
Any help on this would be much appreciated.
