Hello all,
I am a technician in a distribution warehouse. I am working on a auto lube system for our A.S.R.S (automated storage and retrieval system). I need to supply lubricant to our crane cables. the cranes are 110ft tall. In the project I was going to use air at 120 psi to a pressurized tank with the lubricant. Then use 3/4" tube to supply the lubricant to the top. I’m worried about flow of the lubricant to the top, so my question is will the 3/4 tube be enough or do I need to go bigger? Or is it over kill?
Is there is a way to figure this out using the weight and viscosity of the liquid?
