Automatically leveling unbalanced load on two axes

Hello all, just wondering if anyone is familiar with an under the hook device that could automatically level an unbalanced load on two axes. We are thinking of something that would use accelerometers or extensiometers to automatically shift the cg so the load is picked level. Something similar to this except on two axes that can handle a round ~8' diameter payload.

Thanks in advance!

Why not just get in contact with those guys. They can probably at least tell you why it can't be done.

That's a tough task. Until the load is free of the ground the unbalance cannot be detected. Once it is free, then leveling will require a power source to supply enough energy to affect the CG of the load by whatever amount it is out of balance, plus overcome any additional friction.

If you are lifting rounds then three chains would be used. Each could have excess length that can be payed out as required with a chain pulley and a hydraulic motor where the inlet and outlet are connected through a solenoid valve. They would need a power source and a communications system.

The one in the video is fully manual and saves having a guy get out and change the lengths of the chains.
