Automotive production standards 2

Hello,
I work as a designer in an automotive company. Now we are changing our production quality and organization from, let's say, garage level to industrial level. We have recently established cooperation with another automotive company, with automotive grade quality level. Now we need to design our goods according to appropriate automotive standards. So my question is where I can get some kind of list including most important automotive standars, or maybe someone could help me with a short list of them. We are working in metric units, by the way.
