First question:

-If you look at the Powerpoint file attach to this thread, I lost my Layer window. How can I get my layer window back?

Thats my question for now. Thanks

On the top bar, push the button that is to the right of the arrow/? That will get your layers window back.

I use AutoSprink and am on VR7. Feel free to ask any autosprink questions. You can also get a lot of help on the autosprink.com forum. I post on there as well. I believe that some others on here are on the mepcad forums.

Good luck!

Thanks Travis!

Another question, how can you lay out ceiling tiles using the inside corner of the wall?
- when i put my ceiling tiles with walls layer ON, it won't let me pick the corner of the wall of the office so I picked the column just to lay out ceiling tiles.

Thanks

If your 'Special Element' snap is turned on you should be able to have your ceiling grid snap to the inside corners of your walls if you are using Autosprink wall elements.
If you are using standard lines for walls, then you can snap to the intersection or endpoints.
Travis is right in suggesting the Autosprink website for these questions. There is a good comunity of help there.

I tried to register at MepCAD/Autosprink forum unfortunately they declined my request to be a member.

Please don't take this the wrong way. Have you been to the beginner training class for Autosprink? If not, it is a must! The program has too much to offer and the training will get you in the right direction.

As far as your question, you need the selection rotator toolbar on the screen. Then, place your benchmark and 1 corner of the light and then hit the rotate button.

You can find my number and email on the MEPCad forum. Give me a call or email direct if you need anything else on it.

Good luck!!
