I am using ADAMS view 12.0, Im trying to do a simulation of a manipulator. I imported each link models from ProE 2001, and made markers and joints. When I try to run the simulation, "simulation operation failed". In message window,

"ERROR: The system matrix has a zero pivot for column 1, which is associated with PART/1 Xdot. Consequently, the matrix is numerically singular.
ERROR: Abnormal termination encountered in Solver."

How can I solve this error?

Most likely that part has zero mass and/or inertia.
If you have parts without mass/inertia, they must be locked with a fixed joint to a part that has it.

Considering that it is PART/1, it might be that this part should be the ground part, but by some reason it is not. Right click ont he part and specify "ground".
