We have installed AVK Telescopic Extension Spindles for buried water valves. How does the length of the extension spindle lock at a desired point??I can't find any installation guide.

Thank you for your response

The installation guide dosn't show how to fasten the length of the telescopic mechanism. Does it fasten??
If not how can we secure a joint with the stem of a Post Indicator ?

I dont think you can lock the telescope,
just push and pull.
maybe you can fix something on the outside of the telescope tubes

When installing telescopic extension spindles the cap should be over the ground level? I can't see any other way to mount a Post Indicator on them only if their length is enough so the cap is over ground level .If the length isn't enough and ta cap of the telescopic extension spindle is underground the mounting will be impossible.

Am I wrong?

You don't need an indicator for a gatevalve, so I think You have a ballvalve,
Can't You just note it on the handle then? or with a sign?

Nope it must be FM approved.. FM obliges us to use indicators

Anyway I will call a supplier tomorrow. Thank you for time

Is it right to refer to the housing of the indicators as Post Indicator or Indicator Post? I have seen it both ways
