B-axis live-turning

Hi,

We recently recieved a video from dmg, which shows b-axis live turning, I've heard from dmg guys that it's been programmed with NX,

Does anybody know how to program this? Is it a special turning operation or some kind of variable-contour trick?

This look like something that could only be done with some type of variable contour operation. The hard part would be verifying the tool path.

It is probably an original variable axis milling operations, with an API program to re-orient to a turning path.
