Hi, can someone please help me to understand what is B/C major and minor in ETABS
Screenshot_2024-02-29_141241_asfcae.png

I have a column that has 0.794 ratio in major and O/S in minor.
1. What does the number 0,794 represent? I know that Mc/Mb should be 1.2 in SMRF, so does that mean that my B/C, maj is okay because it is less than 1.2 while my B/C, min is O/S because it exceeds 1.2?
2. What does major and minor means? I define my column like in the picture below, does this means that major represent the moment in the 2 direction and minor represent the momen in the 3 direction.

I try to look up at ETABS manual but came up with nothing, try to look at youtube but none of them give this information, I was hoping for someone that can explain this to me as simplest as possible.

Thank you in advanced!

The B/C ratio is the beam to column capacity ratio. O/S means that its design failed based on the code you are using.

What does major and minor mean?

I'm guessing major axis (i.e. strong axis) and minor axis (i.e. weak axis)....
