[b]Word Wrap[/b] 1

I did a search on word wrap but only got a few hits regarding BOM's.

I'm in the process of creating custom sheet formats and so far have been forced to add 3 separate "title" properties because a single property (if filled with too much text) won't wrap down.

I wanted to use a single property that could be used for both drawing title and BOM description line, but I need the property to wrap for that to occur. Inventor has no problem doing this...

Does SW support word wrap in any of its properties?

In Solidworks 2006 you can define a textbox width and it will word wrap automatically for you.

Not without writing a VB program to do it.

Well, there used to be way by pasting in a special "carriage return" character. I think you can find the character in a detail view label where it separates the view label and scale.

It seems not. I have asked my VAR about this issue, and was told that 2006 fixes the problem. It seems according to my VAR 2006 Fixes everything there ever was wrong with SW.

<ALT> = Alt Key

0010 = numbers entered on numeric keypad

<ALT> 0010 is linefeed character which should wrap your text to the next line. Hold the Alt key down while you key in 0010. It should work.
