B31.1 NDE Requirements

I am working on a piping specification for B31.1 (2012) boiler external pipework and I am trying to check the NDE requirements according to the code. The only reference I can find is in section 136.2.1 where it states "....For specific requirements see the applicable parts of Section 1 of the ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code, PG-104 through PG-113....". When I look in the Pressure Vessel Code there are no sections PG-104 through PG-113 and pages 104 through 113 deal with pressure relief and part of methods of fabrication but does not include any NDE requirements.

I have three questions:
Am I missing something in the B31.1 code?
What is the B31.1 Code referring to?
Should I just use the relevant parts of the Pressure Vessel Code?

NDE requirements are clearly listed in Table 136.4 of B31.1.

JM, I think you might be missing something.

The B31.1 Code is refering to Section I of the BPVC -- did you perchance look in Section VIII, Division I? When I went to Section I, I found PG-104 to 113 and they dealt with certification marks and stamping just as B31.1 136.2.1 discusses. But as Weldstan says, go look at b31.1 136.4 for NDE requirements.

Yes, I completely missed that table and yes, I was looking at Division VIII.
