I'm trying to use AutoCad (2000) to make a facility map of a business site. I'd like to use color backgrounds for identification purposes. I've tried to use a solid hatch then add some text over the hatch. In some cases the text is fine, in others I lost the text behind the hatch color. Is there a way I can "lock" the background hatch to avoid losing the text?

Thanks - dadelar

dadelar,

the command is "_draworder"
Put the hatch behind the text, and lock the layer...
