Does anybody know the standard or a web link to the standard details for barb fitting that have the "shark fin style teeth" (sorry i don't know the technical name).

Or maybe you are referring to Straub type pipe fittings ?

If so visit
These have backward facing 'teeth' in the clamp, intended to dig into the pipe wall and prevent failure due to axial pressure and longitudinal bending.
