What sort of formwork would you use for a basement using top down construction. The existing soil will be levelled off at approx the right level for the underside of the floor slabs and then imported soil used to make a level working area. But after that how to form the underside of the slab in a presentable manner.

Plywood on a 2 by 4 framework is suitable for exposed slabs, anything will suffice for drop ceilings with 6 mil poly as a standard.
