Hi All,

Looks like our workplace is going to pick up a couple of jobs where we need to create some electrical circuit dwgs showing field terminations, etc.
I've done this before using our Solidworks software and creating blocks for each component, but it's sloppy and time consuming.
Any recommendations on basic electrical CAD packages that we can look at for producing these dwgs?
We don't need to integrate it into anything else, just need to produce line drawings of the basic circuits and show field connections.
Bonus points if it has access to other tables of symbols for producing P&ID's etc.
Thanks.

We use AutoCAD electrical, it’s quite powerful, we barely scratch the surface on it capability.
