Hello people, I'm new here and I am a beginner Ansys's user too. I hope this forum will help me a lot.
I've tried to run a simple simulation, a rectangular cross-section beam strained beyond the elastic limit due to pure bending (the elastic perfectly plastic material model was assumed) but I can't get any results. Some nodes where the load is applied have undergone large dislocations and the simulation hasn't converged.
What mistake have I done?

You've probably applied point loads which, under yielding, have caused excessive deformations. Try spreading the load a little with perhaps an applied pressure load.

Thank you! I've overcome the problem doing sth unusual. I applied the load (moment)over a rigid part (a narrow section) bonded at the end of the beam. Although I still do not understand why some nodes were displaced excessively.
