Does anyone know if there is a way to be able to choose bearings by OD, Bore & Thickness instead of by what the toolbox refers to as Size?
I'm currently creating models & manufacturing drawings of pre-existing products so the dimensions are the information I have. The bearing I needed today was OD 52mm, Bore 25mm, thickness 15mm & has S6205RS written on it (which also isn't very helpful). Apparently this is 225, which I'm supposed to be able to not only guess at but also find in a list of 2500 different bearings?
Perhaps I'm using bearings from the wrong standard, but even if the number written on the bearing was in the list I'd still have the problem of finding it amongst so many others.
Currently I'm using an excel spreadsheet exported from toolbox to find the right bearing and whilst this works, it's not exactly an efficient method and I wonder if I'm just missing something.
Hoping that one of you is ahead of me on this.
