Hi,

I didn't see a bearing forum. I have a part number and I want to know if this is a ball bearing or a roller bearing and dimensions, etc. I haven't been able to find it online. I would also like to find someone familiar with "bearing buddies" and greasing bearings in general.

It is a pillow block bearing Link-Belt number P3-Y219N

I am involved with shock pulse monitoring of bearings.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

hi, nisqually,
first of all, it would be a nice idea to found a bearing thread because a lot of people are not so deep involved in bearing matters.

to your questing.
i have found a lot of equivalent bearing types to P3Y219N.
'equivalent' means different manufactures. but this also means that outer dimensions are the same as P3Y219N but internal design may differ.
the part you are asking for is a ball bearing insert of a bearing unit.
(outer) dimensions (in inch) are as follows:
bore diam. = 1.1875, outer ring sphere diam. = 2.4409, inner ring width = 1.5, outer ring width = 0.748;
2 lock screws on inner ring.
with or without relubrication hole.

i hope i've could help you.

best regards

rollerbearing

pls don't worry about my english.
