Hello,
Recently one of my older colleague's asked me if it is possible to transform the coordinates of a closed-loop traverse measured in a local coordinate system. To the Belgian Datum 1972 ( since we are working in Belgium atm) by just opening to a know reference-point (eg. church,...). And how you would calculate that transformation and if that would be more accurate than measuring with GNSS.
Since i've only measured combining TPS and GNSS this really intrigues me! I've been searching for a while now and can't really find an answer, hope you guys can help me out here!
