Hi,
I have a cone in my div 1 pressure vessel and I was asked if it was possible to have the cone made by bending instead of rolling. Since this vessel will have many cycles (±400,000), I have doubts that it would be advantageous since each bend should be considered as peaking and they would have to respect small tolerances on each bend (like the procedure in div 2 for longitudinal weld).
Comments?
Thanks,
Biss
