I will probably need to start a .xin from scratch.

I tried to create an empty .txt and rename it to .xin but then, symbology customixation is locked...

TheParp, you don't/can't start with a blank XIN. Use the delivered civil.XIN and start deleting, adding, editing Feature Styles and Named Symbologies.

You could also visit some State DOT's or USACE websites to download some other XIN files for a starting point. I am partial to CDOT XIN file ;)

I have another good one for you.

Recently I started a project in metric system.
The client wanted all drawings in imperial system.
So I used the tools in Railtrack to convert all my alignments.
It worked perfectly, even the turnouts were scaled correctly...

correctly? well I lost the connections....

Is there a way to just connect the alignment with the turnout or do I have to REINSERT every imperial turnout and then remake the connections?

In short, Do I have to REDO every connection when a conversion is made?
