Hi, I am looking to install some AgAgCl reference cells in order to complete cathodic protection testing. they would be installed in a vertical hole and I am thinking of keeping them in position and supporting the cables with a bentonite backfill.
What I am wondering is whether the bentonite will have any effect on the operation of the cells? I wouldn't think so as it is bascially a clay and these cells work fine when installed in clay soils.
thanks
KJ
