We have been recently having some trouble with our rotary valves, as the gland packing rings on its seal cassettes come off due to as we think is inept adhesive. Rotary valve is used to transfer PTA powder whose PH valve is about 5 and is at about 120 degree celsius. Can anyone recommend some adhesive we should use for our gland packing which is Chesterton 440 as recommended by OEM Coperion.
