I am currently evaluating options for the final discharge flow monitoring of a gravity flow storm sewer.
From the final manhole on site there are 2 discharge options. The primary discharge option connects to the local municipal system but is to be controlled to a maximum discharge rate of 13 L/s. I would like to evaluate the options to monitor this flow to the municipal system. The proposed connection to the existing system is through a 6" diameter gravity storm sewer.
All flows in excess of the 13 L/s will discharge to an overflow ditch discharge at a higher elevation, this flow does not need to be monitored.
There is not a lot of available real estate to the solution would ideally fit inside a standard 6' diameter manhole.
