I am trying to investigate the best fluid to use in a motor vehicle's turbo intercooler system...it traditionally uses water as the cooling agent and would have anti-freeze added to inhibit rust and prevent freezing etc....I have just read that adding about 25% antifreeze reduces the waters heat disapation effeciency by about 6%....the car is used for serious racing and so I am wanting to maximise it's effectiveness in cooling compressed air from the turbo.
Any sugeestions on an alternative fluid or additive that I could use would be apprecited.
