Hello-

I'm trying to find a stepper motor vendor for a NEMA 11 class motor, which is form, fit and function compatible to a Lin engineering 211-20-01, bipolar stepper, but with a higher OPERATING temperature.

The web based data sheet is at:

The Motor Operating Specifications page for the motor is:

I'm looking for an Operating Temp. Range of -20C to ****70C****, not the -20C to 50C in their specs.

Any thoughts on a vendor would be appreciated.

Cheers,

Rich S.

I am actually using a Lin motor in an application that is rated for 70. The Lin motor is rated at 50 for typical applications BUT their engineers derated the motor performance for 70. They simply lowered the continuous running current.

Hi guys-

Thanks for the followups. Good thought on cutting down the average power, cutting down on the holding current and running current. I'll see what I can do.

Cheers,

Rich S.
