Blanket Gas Rate Determination

Please, I want to know the steps taken in determining the blanket gas rate required for a vessel or tank. In my case, I am using a Fuel gas/HC gas as the blanket gas since it is readily available.

The gas blanketing flow rates should be determined as per API2000 for thermal inbreathing and pump out conditions. The calculation is straightforward.
