I am currently designing a deck for a residence (helping out a landscape architect) and he wants all of the connections hidden. This ultimately means I will need to utilize blind bolts (because he does not want field welds). I have very little experience with them as I typically use thru plates, seated connections, or thru bolts for tubes.

Can anyone point me in the direction of a good resource for allowable values (I am using AISC 341-05)?

There are several manufacturers. AISC now recognizes and accepts the use of blind bolts. But, there does not appear to be a standard. You have to rely on the manufacturer strength and design information. I have been forced to use them a couple of times. I recommend specifying a specific product or company.
