Hi All,
We are a company from the UK and we sell a device that stops sewage pumps getting blocked up with rags. This is a very common problem and we call this "ragging". How do you refer to this process please?

Thanks - Clogging is a good word! Found loads of associated jargon as well. We are trying to do some keyword research for our deragger. Maybe should have called it a 'declogger' [smile]

For ragging - how about "Stuffed-up", this describes the problem as well as the result.

It is a capital mistake to theorise before one has data. Insensibly one begins to twist facts to suit theories, instead of theories to suit facts. (Sherlock Holmes - A Scandal in Bohemia.)
