Today at 12:54 PM #2 XR250 Structural Jan 30, 2013 5,758 Depends on what is on the other side of the web. You might want to bear your ledgers on the bottom flange of the beam and make them thinner (i.e. 2x and some plywood spacer) to remove the shear load from the bolts. Upvote 0 Downvote
