I am working on a project where I need to select the bolt material that will withstand long-term exposure to marine environments. What mat'l would you recommend that has a relatively high strength? The fastener will retain a 316SS vessel (at ambient temperature) . I would desire >100K PSI yield. Thanks!

We usually use A286 stainless steel, Titanium or Inconel 625

Bolt materials coated with PEEK have been recommended previously for service in the North Sea.
