Bolting Through Masonry Veneer - OBC Reference

Hello! I read the thread "Bolting Through Masonry Veneer" and was wondering if anyone knows where in the Ontario Building Code the reference is that states you cannot use masonry veneer to support wood framing, such as a deck.

Most building officials will not permit using non-load bearing veneer to support decks, etc. You can likely design the veneer to accommodate some loading, but you would have to use engineered masonry design.

The word says it all, veneer-
1. A thin surface layer, as of finely grained wood, glued to a base of inferior material.
2. Any of the thin layers glued together to make plywood.
3. A decorative facing, as of brick.
It's just dead load, you can attach to it, but support must be elsewhere.
