Bolts: ASTM A394 55T

trying to analyze the connections on a transmission line tower that was designed in the 1950's. The bolts listed on the design drawings are not the typical type 1, 2, 3 etc. that we expect to see in present times. Instead, the bolts are listed as "ASTM-A394-55T". I am having trouble establishing a suitable shear capacity for these bolts. Any suggestions?

You might look at ASCE 10 to see if they say anything about old bolts. Bob Nickerson had a paper at an ASCE conference about analyzing old towers:

You also might look at old ASTM specs from the time to see if they say anything.

If you use PLS-CADD software to analyze T-Lines, you might contact them to see if they have some specs for old bolts.
