What's the easiest way of creating a Bill of Materials in a CATdrawing for an assembly? Sorry about the simple question... I'm new to Catia

Insert/Generation/Bill of Material/Advanced Bill of Material

Select the style and then follow the prompts at the bottom of the screen. Once the table is on the drawing you can select it and then modify the properties. See the help for more information.

I have a similar problem as I am very new to Catia. How do I find the BOM in a Catia model that was provided by my customer? Is there an easy way to see all the job notes as well?

For creating BoM in Drawings you've to switch the sheet background. There are two functions (from SP3) Bill of Material and Advanced Bill of Material
