In this case , the bond stress is cohesion based friction resistance and may be assumed 150 psi.
You may look to your local code for the bond stress for plain bars .

The following snap from an old book (Clarence DUNHAM ,THE THEORY OF REINFORCED CONCRETE , 1944 ed.) The allowable bond stress for steel plates , structural shape = 0.04 Fc

Use it up, wear it out;
Make it do, or do without.

Thanks for your response,
I didn't find it in my local code,
"In this case , the bond stress is cohesion based friction resistance and may be assumed 15 psi".
It is a very low rate. maybe you mean 150 psi?

Yes .. you are right . One zero is missing, i have edited. The reference book suggests 0.04Fc and not exceeding 160 psi.
