Check out the IBC Structural/Seismic Design Manuals - Volumes 1 through 3 as mentioned above. There are a lot of design guides on the AISC website. Become familiar with ASCE 7-16. NDS has some seismic design publications for wood. There are even some shearwall design examples from WoodWorks. FEMA has publications and examples. Also check out the SEAOC Blue Book - even an older edition. For current news:

The NEHRP guides are a fairly good resource, covering the basics plus some more advanced concepts. All free as well.
