I am looking to setup our CATIA license server so I can borrow licenses while I'm out of the office.

Has anyone set this up before? I have seen a program by Gehry Technologies (Digital Project) which apparently will do this but the program download is 2GB.

Is it correct that this is not a native feature in the License Use Runtime application?

You can do this if you have concurrent licenses. This is a feature in LUM, not a default setting. After you run the offline migration utility you can grab a license from your server and place it on a laptop and leave the building for up to a max of 30 days.

Rick Jones from IBM wrote a Catia License Cookbook which will be very helpful.
You should be using arkwin_468FP14.zip (32bit) or arkwin64_468FP14.zip (64bit)of the LUM software on the server.

Derek

Cheers Derek,

Worked perfectly, appreciate that!
