I have a question about a brace connection design. I am using the AISC 9th ed. Vol. II Connections Manual to design a brace connection using the uniform force method. It has great detail for brace connections with beams horizontal into a column. My problem is I have a roof beam with a brace connection, but the beam is sloped (approx. 3/12). Does anyone know where I can find information on this kind of connection? Thanks.

The UFM can be used for that problem too. You just have to adjust how much force goes in the shear and axial directions.
